Is there another layer of the roof that needs to go on your pentagonal plan Gazebo? Restless with anticipation over here...

Regards

DerekYxochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11555633496005278384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6261993076995357307.post-64840141484637473732012-03-23T15:09:56.291-04:002012-03-23T15:09:56.291-04:00Nice piece, I had to travel to NYC on business for...Nice piece, I had to travel to NYC on business for several years. I must say however that I much prefer sitting by the Quabbin just quietly listening.
I find the Nakashima pieces to be inspiring and always feel that the wood is very alive and speaking to me.

DickDick Aubochonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6261993076995357307.post-78225497477841105292012-03-23T08:55:52.076-04:002012-03-23T08:55:52.076-04:00Tico,

The low chairs sit okay, and at least the seats didn't creak but I do have my reservations about the structural design of those 'Conoid' type chairs. The slab table with the butterfly keys was not of much interest. Some of his benches and tables are a bit angular in certain respects and really don't grab me. But I do like that he worked with solid wood!

~ChrisAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14328401081765407624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6261993076995357307.post-57834812391177110292012-03-23T08:32:29.748-04:002012-03-23T08:32:29.748-04:00I enjoyed reading about the country mouse's vi...I enjoyed reading about the country mouse's visit to the Big Apple. The Ming piece is very appealing to my eye as well. What was your feeling about the Nakashima pieces?

TicoTico Vogthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15743565097341810389noreply@blogger.com
